Tournaments
Three kinds of tournament: Bushiroad's own, ours on the platform, and ones supporters host themselves.

Shop Tournament: rules & format
Shop Tournaments are the monthly, entry-level Palworld TCG events run at official tournament stores worldwide — by far the most common way to play competitively. They use the Standard format and Swiss pairings, best-of-one, and unusually there is no fixed round count: the tournament ends at the end of the round in which exactly one undefeated player remains. Promo rewards rotate roughly every three months.
Format
| Stage | Pairing | Games | Time | Rounds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Swiss rounds | Swiss | Best of 1 | Not stated | No fixed count |
- Swiss rounds: No fixed round count. The tournament concludes at the end of the round where exactly one undefeated player remains. Bushiroad does not state a round time limit.
Top cut None — there is no top cut.

- How many rounds is a Palworld TCG shop tournament?
- There is no fixed number. It runs Swiss pairings and concludes at the end of the round in which exactly one undefeated player remains, so the count depends on how many people turn up.
- Is there a top cut at a shop tournament?
- No. Shop Tournaments are Swiss only — the last undefeated player is the champion.
- How do I enter a shop tournament?
- Register in advance through the Bushi Navi app and pick a participating store.
- Do shop tournaments cost money to enter?
- Bushiroad does not state an entry fee for this programme, so it is set by the individual store. Check with the store before you go.
