Grand Release Tournament: rules & format
The launch tournaments for the first booster, Dawn of Palpagos, in August 2026. Stores in the English regions each held one between August 1 and 31: five rounds of best-of-one Swiss, an Entry Soul set for everyone and a Lily & Lyleen playmat for the champion. Japan held three venue events — Osaka on August 8, Tokyo on August 15 and Nagoya on August 29 — and Bushiroad published the decklists of their undefeated players.
This event has finished. It ended on August 31, 2026.

Grand Release Tournament FAQ
- Was the Grand Release Tournament the same event in Japan and abroad?
- No. In the English regions it was a store tournament any official store could run once in August 2026. In Japan, "リリース記念大会" was three larger venue events in Osaka, Tokyo and Nagoya, while Japanese stores ran a separate, casual "Dawn of Palpagos Release Tournament".
- Where are the Grand Release Tournament results?
- Bushiroad published the undefeated players' decklists from the three Japanese venue events; they are linked on this page. The English store events published no results.
